The formation of Select teams are an extension of the N.A.S.C. Hockey Program. As an extension of our recreational house league, our Select (All-Star) program will continue to offer a more competitive level of play in a structured environment.

PLEASE NOTE: Tryouts are scheduled to start October 23rd
ALL Players MUST register with N.A.S.C. Hockey PRIOR TO taking the ice for tryouts. Players must either register on-line prior to attending the tryouts.
N.A.S.C. Hockey will be offering the following Select programs for the 2022-2023 Hockey Season
Under 11 (9 - 10 years of age
Under 13 (11 - 12 years of age)

ALL Players MUST register with N.A.S.C. Hockey PRIOR TO taking the ice for tryouts.

As an extension of our recreational house league, our Select program will continue to offer a more competitive level of play in a structured environment. Age groups will be determined based on the interest and viability of the division.
Players at all levels are given an equal opportunity to demonstrate their skills to a panel which consists of members of the Select committee and the coaching staff.
All players are "selected" are required to provide a $200.00 registration fee. (this fee covers operating costs such as insurance and jerseys) Approximate season cost is estimated at $800 for the entire season including three (3) tournaments.
All N.A.S.C. Select teams/players are carded as "Rostered Select" and will not participate in a "league".
N.A.S.C. Select teams are based on the "grass roots" concept of the "Tournament" team.
N.A.S.C. Select teams will participate in "exhibition" games/series and varied tournaments.
Select teams are run independent of their house league affiliates and all players are responsible to provide ice fees to both teams. All players MUST fulfill their obligation to their house league team first and are required to fully participate on both teams. As such, the N.A.S.C. Select Program is a privilege. It is to be noted that players who participate in the N.A.S.C. Select program may have their select privileges revoked at any time by the N.A.S.C. Hockey Executive (acting reasonably) with just cause. Failure to fulfill their obligations can and will result in removal of this privilege.
Rostered Select is governed by OMHA.
