Hockey Canada has developed coaching qualifications that all Team Officials (Coaches, Trainers and Managers) are required to complete. All qualifications were developed to ensure all participants have a full understating of the Hockey Canada health and safety protocols and are prepared to return to the rink in a safe and healthy manner.

All N.A.S.C. Hockey rostered team officials must hold the required OMHA certifications. It is important that the volunteers we place behind the benches with our kids is properly certified to do so by our governing body, OMHA.

This includes completion of the following course(s);
Gender Identity and Expression course
Respect in Sport Activity Leader program
Rowan's Law acknowledgement and must submit a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference check to the respective neighbourhood association Hockey Chairperson.

Team officials within different divisions and levels of play will require further Training/Certification.
